Bishop's Stortford relinquished top spot in Ryman Division One with a disappointing home defeat to Northwood at Woodside Park.
The first goal came after only five minutes as a long ball through the home defence saw Micky Desborough come well off his line. Forward Andy Cook reached the ball first to knock it into an empty net.
Al-James Hannigan then had a header off the line as Stortford looked for the equaliser, before the visitors doubled their advantage as Alex Riches' mistake was seized upon by Chris Moore who beat Desborough with ease.
The Blues got one back ten minutes from time through Justin Bowen, though fell to their 7th league defeat of the campaign. Ford United won 2-1 at Slough Town to go top, but Aylesbury stay third.
The Ducks lost 2-1 at Carshalton Athletic for whom Mark Hynes bagged a brace.
