The M25 was brought to a standstill after a three lorries were involved in a seven-vehicle pile up.
The accident happened after two lorries travelling into Essex collided on the Essex side of the Queen Elizabeth II bridge.
No one was injured in the incident on Friday but two Essex-bound lanes of the M25 had to be closed and there were tailbacks reaching the M20.
