Daring customers put their faith in hairdressers who were blindfolded - and on rollerskates.
The hairdressers from Oxygen, in High Street, Clacton, took on the challenge to raise money for St Helena Hospice.
Salon owner Claire Lee said the event had gone well.
She said: "One woman had her long hair shaved to a number two and dyed purple."
