Six wins out of six now for Purfleet, who went third in the Ryman Premier with a resounding success against Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday.
They led at Thurrock Hotel after only four minutes, as Paul Linger and Cliff Akurang combined to keep the ball in play when it looked like going out. They eventually set up Terry Bowes who executed the easiest of opportunities from three yards.
Colin Simpson went close to adding a second before the midfielder did make it two, steering in Akurang's centre on 13 minutes.
Hampton huffed and puffed without causing Alex O'Reilly any headaches in the Purfleet goal, and the win was secured on the hour as Simpson went through to round McKenzie for his second of the game.
