Essex Careers and Business Partnership's latest hi-tech method of getting information on the world of work to the young people that need it has been given a thumbs up.
The company, which is contracted by the Government to provide the county's careers services, has installed the latest computer software at its Career Link call centre allowing it to respond to text message queries from teenagers and send back text messages of its own containing helpful advice and information.
The new service has been welcomed by ECBP's customers, who say they have found it quicker to use than other methods, as well as being more enjoyable.
Fiona Marriage, manager of the Career Link call centre said: "The new texting service is working well."
To use the new service, text 07799 131311.
