Children at Westcliff High School for Boys in Kenilworth Gardens, Westcliff took part in a master chef competition as part of their food technology lessons.
Everyone who took part designed their own meal, and the winning entries which were a pasta dish and a cake were mass prepared by the school's cooks to be served at lunchtime.
