There's a chance to see how work on the new A120 Stansted to Braintree road is progressing - and have their say on what to do with the old road - in a round of exhibitions in the area.

The display will be at Braintree Library on Friday, April 26 from 10am until 7pm, and on Saturday, April 27, from 9am until 1pm; at Takeley Silver Jubilee Hall on Wednesday May 1, from 3.30pm to 9pm, and at Foakes Hall, Stortford Road, Great Dunmow, on Monday, May 7, from 3.30pm to 9pm.

Road project personnel and Essex County Council officers will attend to present information, answer questions and discuss options for the old road when the new A120 is opened to traffic, expected to be by January, 2004.

The exhibitions are held in partnership with the county council, the highways agency, contractors Balfour Beatty and consultants Arup Transport and W.S. Atkins.
