Former Southend United goalkeeper Peter Goy led a family affair at Thorpe Hall when he won the monthly medal at Thorpe Hall with a net 71, playing off 12.
For the next day, in gale force winds, his son Simon collected the club's Stableford, obtaining 35 points off his allowance of one.
For both days conditions were so tough the Standard Scratch was raised to 73.
