Essex water company bosses are backing a campaign to provide cleaner water to communities in poorer countries.
Essex & Suffolk Water is calling on customers to save water and make a donation to charity WaterAid.
For every promise made to turn off the tap instead of letting water run when cleaning your teeth, the firm will make a donation to the charity.
They have also promised to make a donation of 50p for each customer who agrees to trial a water butt or home composter in their gardens. The pledges have been made to coincide with World Water Day tomorrow.
The firm's website can be found at www.eswater.co.uk and further details of the initiative will be dropping through people's letterboxes soon.
