There's a big night of kick-boxing at the Circus Tavern, Purfleet, on Sunday and much for the Aveley Club to look forward to.
Chris Wootten leads a four-strong title challenge from the local club when he defends his European super light-heavyweight title against the Belgian, Gata Kome Apolonaire.
This will be Wootten's first fight since he suffered a career first knock-out at the Tavern during his world title bid against Germany's Bruce Ozbek in October.
Sunday's show, billed as The Best of British, is sanctioned by the WKA and is to be televised by Sky TV, has 15 contests, 11 of which are for titles.
Aveley have Simon Jackman (super light-heavyweight) and Jason Vassallo (super lightweight) bidding for British belts and Steve Marshall (super bantanweight) going for a Southern Area crown.
"They've all looked good in training so no it's just a matter of going out and doing the business," explained Aveley coach Steve Kerridge.
The club's novices, Matt Burns and Dave Brown, are also in action.
Various top named boxers are expected to make an appearance and hopefully some stars from EastEnders.
Doors open at 4pm with the first contest at 5pm.
