A new vehicle showroom is set to be built in Braintree after plans for the building submitted by property developers Rosper Estates were approved.
The 300sqm aluminium and glass building will be built on a vacant piece of land in the Lakes Industrial Park in Braintree, at the junction of Lower Chapel Hill and Mill Hill. It will be used as either a car or motorcycle showroom.
Also included in the plans is car parking for customers and staff and landscaping of the circular building's forecourt.
At a meeting of Braintree Council's area committee last night members gave the plans the go-ahead. David Mann, (Lab, Bocking North) said: "This application is within our policy for the local area.
"It will be interesting to see the contrast of the modern design and what is already in the area."
