Arena-Essex hosts a Banger World Championship qualifier on Sunday with a high-class field promising thrills at the Purfleet track.
Rayleigh's Matt Fuller is the man in form after a double win in the opener at Plastengrove two weeks ago.
But he will face a stern test from reigning champion Andy Davies of Gravesend.
In the 11-16 years race Canvey's Ministox ace Vic Bilkey heads a big line up, while the 1300 stock cars also return. Practice starts at 12.30pm with the first race at 2pm. Tickets are £9 (adults), and £4 (juniors and OAPs).
