Big it up! Talented Kellie Bright will be keeping it real for Great Wakering as Ali G's girlfriend MeJulie in his eagerly-awaited film IndaHouse, which hits cinema screens on Friday.
Kellie, who has appeared in TV show Upper Hand, used to attend Great Wakering Primary School, but has since found stardom as a West End star and in radio show The Archers.
Staff at her former school were today toasting her latest success and Tory MP Sir Teddy Taylor revealed he was also asked to star in the film.
Deputy head Philip Staines said: "She was always in all the primary school plays when she was little and always stole the show. We are all very proud of her."
Sir Teddy, MP for Rochford and Southend East, was once stitched up by Ali G when giving an interview about the European Union.
He said: "I congratulate Kellie - it is going to be a huge success and I hope she enjoys the occasion.
"It will poke fun at the House of Commons and there's no harm in that."
Kellie said: "It's been great, she is really fun to play. I had a natural feel for MeJulie and have had a lot of my own input into her, which has been nice."
