The launch of Business Champions Network has been welcomed by the Southend business community.
The European Social Funded-scheme, which uses the experience and wisdom of experienced South East Essex businessmen and women to guide the owner-managers of new or developing companies, was officially launched earlier this month.
David Garston, portfolio holder for regeneration on Southend Council, which is helping support the scheme, said: "The launch was very well attended and sent a buzz through the business community, generating a huge amount of interest."
