Southend United and West Ham have both been busy donating FA-allocated money to good causes.

The Blues -- in common with other teams who made the first-round proper of the FA Cup -- received £7,650 to give to charity.

The money went to Business Opportunities for the Disabled, Eastwoodbury Lane Centre and the Southend Centre for the Homeless. Each received £2,550.

West Ham gave their Charity Shield fund money to The Winged Fellowship, The Richard House Children's Hospice and the Bobby Moore Fund for Imperial Cancer. All received cheques for £2,550.
