A family day out on Southend seafront turned into a nightmare for a young girl who was victimised by a group of people while her sister was beaten.
The robbery, targeted on the girl, 12, took place on Marine Parade around 3pm on Sunday.
She was approached by a group of around ten youths who attacked her sister and demanded money. The girl handed over £20 and the group ran off.
One of the suspects was a white girl of medium build aged around 14. She was around 5ft tall with short brown hair. She wore a black jacket.
