A woman was taken to hospital with whiplash when two vehicles were in collision at Blake End.
And police were called to another accident today involving a motorcycle and a car.
At about 8.30pm last night a blue Ford Transit van and a silver Renault 21 estate car were involved in a collision at the junction of the A120 and the B1417, near the Saling Oak pub.
The driver of the Renault, a 48-year-old woman from Great Dunmow, was taken to Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, with her injuries, described as slight.
The other driver, a 43-year-old man from the Braintree area, was unhurt
