"And tonight, Matthew, I'm going to be ..."
The familiar words millions of viewers will hear when a Parkeston man appears on TV show Stars in Their Eyes.
Lee Rose, of Una Road, will walk through the famous doors transformed as Manic Street Preachers star James Dean Bradfield.
The 27-year-old performs You Stole the Sun From My Heart on the ITV programme, hosted by Matthew Kelly, which will be shown at 6.20pm on Saturday.
Mr Rose, an accounts supervisor for DFDS Transport, said it had been a year since his first audition. He had had a second one in Manchester.
Mr Rose first tried to get on the show as Kenny Thomas when he was 17. He has applied nine times as different singers, including Jon Bon Jovi.
"I haven't seen it yet so I'm excited about watching it," he said. "My friends, family and everyone at work are over-the-moon."
