Thurrock made it six wins out of seven in London Two by laying down the law at Oakfield.
Resurgent Tees ran in ten tries after dominating their struggling visitors in all phases of the game.
The 72 points is the second most points the Police have conceded this season after Hertford's 100-11 thrashing.
Tees try-scorers were centre Paco Gay (2), centre Earl Gorman (2), winger Craig White (two), full-back Steve Morritt and forwards Chris Banks, Karl Warren and Dave Stevens.
Morritt also enjoyed a good day with the boot, kicking two penalties and missing just two of ten conversions.
