A South Woodham body artist has been acclaimed as Mr Tattoo by a national magazine.

Customers travel from across the county to visit Immortal Ink in Trinity Square, South Woodham Ferrers - and most go home more than satisfied with their tattoos.
Artist Jason Butcher, who runs the studio, has just be named Mr Tattoo 2002 by readers of Skin Deep, the UK's best-selling tattoo magazine.
He has been tattooing for seven years and opened the Immortal Ink shop in 1999. He is surprised he has won the award.
He said: "Tattoos are not just a trend, they seem to be increasing in popularity. People travel from far and wide to come here and it looks like they go home happy!"
