Brave volunteers will be putting their hair in the hands of the experts - even though the stylists are being blindfolded.
And to add the extra touch of danger, they will also be wearing rollerskates.
The hair stylists from Oxygen, in High Street, Clacton, will be raising money for St Helena Hospice on March 21 and March 22.
Claire Lee, 32, who owns Oxygen, said: "We will work in pairs so there is a guide with you to make sure you don't make any drastic mistakes. Safety is the main priority."
The stylists are hoping to raise £1,000 from the event and are looking for more models to take part.
