Police are hunting teenagers who left a man with two chipped teeth after kicking him in the face in an unprovoked attack in Hadleigh.
The 49-year-old man was walking along London Road when he was assaulted by a gang of white youths aged between 14 and 17-years-old.
Police believe the group of between six and eight youngsters was made up of boys and girls.
A police spokesman said: "The unprovoked attack happened between the bus garage and the Waggon and Horses pub."
The man was taken to Southend Hospital and was released after treatment. Police now want drivers who witnessed the assault which happened at around 5pm last Thursday to come forward.
