Stuart Bingham is dreaming of repeating his heroics of the year 2000 in this weekend's final qualifying round of the Embassy World Snooker Championship.
Bingham, of the Executive Club in Leigh, meets former finalist Nigel Bond over 19 frames for a place at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre.
Two years ago Bingham, who lives in Basildon, shot to fame at Sheffield when he beat Stephen Hendry before losing to Jimmy White.
