More than 200 talented youngsters got everybody's toes tapping when they took part in Colchester Schools Prom 2002.
The audience packed full of family and friends could not help but enjoy themselves as students from seven schools in the Colchester area showed off their musical skills.
Pupils from the town's Sixth Form College, Colchester County High School, Philip Morant School, Manningtree High School, Sir Charles Lucas Arts College, Colchester Royal Grammar School and The Gilberd School took part in the performance at Charter Hall, Colchester Leisure World.
The event on Thursday night was sponsored by the Evening Gazette
