Sunnymead Farm in Alresford will again be used for GM maize trials, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has announced.
Another farm, in Weeley, will also be a local test site, it was revealed.
Protesters in Alresford and neighbouring Wivenhoe have been up in arms at the use of Sunnymead Farm for GM crops. This will be the third time it has carried out the trials.
