A windfall of cash for new community facilities is likely to form part of new plans to build 16 homes on the south western edge of South Woodham Ferrers.
Developers Wimpey Homes want to build the three- and four-bedroom houses on land in Ormesby Chine but planners are recommending the scheme include the cash injection for the town.
The scheme goes before borough council bosses on Monday and is set for approval despite a list of objections from residents already living in the street.
No one was available for comment at Wimpey Homes, based in Witham.
