Cameras will roll at Stansted next week as the airport looks set to make an appearance on prime-time US television.
The airport is to be the location for the pilot of 'Keen Eddie' a show being produced by Paramount. Filming is scheduled for Wednesday March 20.
If successful the show is estimated to have a potential audience of 50m viewers.
The pilot will follow the adventures of Eddie, an American cop who tracks members of a drug cartel to London and gets mixed up in corruption among top brass of the Metropolitan Police.
Top box office attractions Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who played Laura Croft in Tomb Raider, are just two of the big names who have been pencilled in for guest appearances in the series.
