Kieron Dyer is hoping to come back and haunt his old club Ipswich Town when they travel to Newcastle United tomorrow.
The England midfielder, who was signed from Town in July 1999 for £6.5 million, is set to return after two injury setbacks.
His initial return to first-team action was in December when he returned after a ten-month lay-off, ironically against Ipswich at Portman Road.
For the last six weeks, Dyer has been sidelined with a stress fracture in a foot but he is hopeful of returning for the Magpies tomorrow.
And Blues fans will be hoping that he doesn't strike a blow to their survival hopes.
John McGreal missed training yesterday due to a minor calf injury in the Blues' 2-1 midweek defeat to Blackburn Rovers.
