Aveley manager Steve Mosely is on the look out for new players to end a slump of five game without a win.
Among those on his list is believed to be Rikki Finning. The East Thurrock striker was part of the mass player walkout at Rookery Hill last week and is currently at Concord.
Finning would be the ideal recruit to Mill Field having scored 19 goals this season.
A big reason for the Millers loss of form has been midfielder Rikki Hazle's broken leg which is expected to keep him out for at least 18 months.
Aveley are at Tring, who are just below halfway but enjoy a fairly decent home record. In fact the last team to win at Cow Lane were third-placed Hornchurch - who beat Aveley 2-1 on Tuesday night.
Whilst Millers were unlucky not to gain a point from a game that attracted Hornchurch's biggest crowd of the season, it left them ten points in arrears of leaders Croydon Athletic and with only the one game in hand.
