Metropolitan Police from Chadwell Heath traffic unit are appealing for witnesses to a road accident on the A13 which killed a Tilbury man.
Alan Kemp, 50, was travelling on the Southend-bound carriageway just past Barking when the Land Rover Discovery he was driving hit the central barrier at around 2.30pm on March 2.
Mr Kemp, of Portsea Road, was alone in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Kemp was married and worked as chief fitter at a crane company.
The inquest into Mr Kemp's death was opened and adjourned on March 4.
