Proposals to allow the sale of takeaway food from a restaurant in Main Road, Hockley, are likely to be rejected by Rochford District Council.
Councillors are being recommended to refuse the scheme, which has been rejected on previous occasions.
Officers feel there could be parking difficulties on Main Road as well as increased levels of noise, which would be detrimental to the surrounding area.
