Plans have been unveiled to restore Orwell Terrace, an historic building which collapsed in 1994.
Owner John Acton has revealed plans to bring the Victorian Old Convent back to its former glory. He is aiming to submit plans to rebuild the five-storey building by the end of the year.
The end terrace property was empty when it fell down in October 1994.
Mr Acton, who has owned the property since 1993, said he was hopeful he would now be able to create luxury flats on the site once a legal case about the collapse was resolved. There had been plans to carry out work on the building before it collapsed.
Mr Acton said English Heritage previously had offered help and he would again be looking for grants to help fund the project.
