Green-fingered communities are being invited to enter the region's premier horticultural and environmental campaign and take part in 'Anglia in Bloom' for the Jubilee year.
The competition is open to every community from the smallest hamlet to the largest city, and the youngest schoolchild to the oldest pensioner can all do their bit in improving and enhancing their local area.
New opportunities are created for everyone bringing commercial, local authority and private sectors together to show off a village or town in the most attractive way, with enduring improvements for all to enjoy.
The winners of Anglia in Bloom will then have the opportunity to compete in the National Britain in Bloom campaign, organised by the Royal Horticultural Society.
For further information, contact the Anglia in Bloom coordinator at 197 Cauldwell Hall Road, Ipswich, IP4 5DA, or call 01473 718874.
