Dunstable BMX Club hosted the penultimate round of the Winter Series at the Royston track.
As has been the pattern throughout the Series, Braintree provided the lions share of the riders, 13 of the 53 participants.
In the youngest group, Formula 5, newcomer Reagan Smith dominated with wins in all his heats and the final. Zach Stevens finished second in the heats and 4th in the final.
In F4 Ryan Stockwell scored a trio of heat thirds and seventh in the A Final whilst Jason Laudrum romped home a winner in the B Final with Thomas Hall behind him in 3rd place.
The final round of the Series takes place at Peterborough on March 24, and there are still top places in each group to decide the winners, their best four rounds counting towards the Series results.
On the domestic front the Braintree BMX Club plan to start the first of their Wednesday night meetings on April 17 with Round 2 of the Summer Series the following Sunday.
A week later, (April 28), sees the Clubs' Promotional Meeting that promises to be a fun afternoon including a mums and dads race.
