Southend United boss Rob Newman is to investigate the possibility of extending the loan deals of midfielders Brian Barry-Murphy and Ian Selley, who are on the books of Preston and Wimbledon respectively.
"I will be talking to their clubs this week," Newman said yesterday.
"Both players' current loans expire on Tuesday after our game at Leyton Orient and I would like to keep them here until the end of the season."
