National DIY chain Homebase is feeling the benefit of a simpler and cheaper to run customer reward card system, thanks to the efforts of a Rayleigh credit card production company.
As well as producing and personalising the 60,000 new Spend and Save cards activated each month, Thames Card Technology on the Arterial Road has now taken over responsibility for distributing the cards, printing the application forms and matching cards to carriers.
This does away with the need to contract separate companies to do the work and making the client major savings in time and costs.
Homebase Spend and Save manager Claire Bayliff said: "Thames Card's stock management and print technology capabilities, and the fact that they are able to turn round jobs very quickly and be flexible to our needs were real selling points. We now have one point of contact with one supplier and are really very happy."
