Time is running out for Essex's top trainees to put their names down for the county's first Champions of Learning Awards.
The awards, organised by the Learning and Skills Council, Essex, are being held to recognise people who have transformed their lives through formal or informal learning and to hold them up as role models to inspire others.
The winners of the ten categories - which include Learning Against all Odds; Golden Learner (50 plus); Young Learner of the Year (14-19); Learning as a Volunteer; Learning Pioneer; Family Learning Champion; and Juggling to Learn - will be honoured at a ceremony in Chelmsford on May 29.
For an entry form call 01245 550075.
