A woman shop worker was left shocked after a robber burst in brandishing a knife.
The 40-year-old was serving behind the counter of Budget Cards in Woodgrange Drive, Southend, when the man ran into the shop and threatened her with a cutlery knife at around 10.25am yesterday.
He then snatched £50 from the till, leaving the woman unhurt but shocked.
