A man was left unconscious for five hours after an attacker jumped up and down on his chest during a horrific early morning assault in Southend.
The 19-year-old victim also suffered facial injuries during the assault outside the Rendezvous Casino, near the Kursaal, on Southchurch Avenue.
Another man, also aged 19, was set upon.
Witnesses should call Southend police station on 01702 431212.
