A village pre-school will build a memorial to remember a little boy who died of cancer.
A quiet corner is planned for Wix and Wrabness Pre-school as part of a wider scheme to develop an outside play area.
Oliver Hyde, a four-year-old who went to the pre-school, died from a rare form of cancer last June and now staff and friends want to create a special place in his memory.
Manager Carolyn Dobne said: "We have been in close contact with Oliver's family and they have been involved with the planning and we are going to have a little ceremony to open the corner.
"We will plant a special tree there and a plaque saying 'Oliver's Quiet Corner', and hopefully it will be a place where children can go and think."
