Keith Cawte and Mike Lukins triumphed as Thorpe Hall Golf Club started its competitions at the weekend.
The duo won the St David's Men's 4BBB Stableford with 42 points.
There was success too for Beverly and Roberto Bonaro in the Mixed Greensome Stableford.

They won with 36 points on countback from Barbara and Chris Ridgewell.
Third place went Alison Cotgrove and Barry Cheverton with 35 pointson count back from Christine and Chris Masters.
After the mixed greensomes dinner a cheque was presented to Peter Holmes of Essex Radio on behalf of the Cystic-Fibrosis Trust.
Last year's captain Derek Bush collected £3,500 for the charity during his term in office.
Because of poor weather very few ladies took part in the nine-hole medal at Thorpe Hall but Lornie Lawrie was the winner with an excellent 35 1/2 net.
