Garons Tennis Academy were the aces of the pack when Southend Leisure & Tennis Centre hosted the Essex Junior League finals on a home and away basis.
The Garons team -- Matthew Pearce, 11, David Watson, 10, Ross Worsfold, 11 and captain Zak Power, 12 -- battled it out for the Division Two title and turned on the style in the semi-final against Stock Tennis Club.
GTA won all four singles 6-0 and also the two doubles matches against players that were all 14 and 15 years old.
This win put the boys into the final against Writtle TC, who pipped Westcliff Hard in their semi-final.
Despite being the underdogs, Matt and David both won 6-0 to put GTA 2-0 up. Writtle came back in the next rubber with a 6-2 win, but Zak Power put in a fighting performance to win 6-4.
Writtle won the first doubles match 6-1 but David and Matt pulled off a 6-2 win to give Garons Tennis Academy a 4-2 victory and promotion into Division 1.
