Simon Brown takes his goalkeeper's gloves to Peterborough tomorrow hoping for a big change of luck and a Colchester United win.
The U's keeper, one of ten Layer Road players looking to win new contracts at the end of the season, has let in seven goals in the previous two matches, yet has hardly had a save to make.
"I can't believe my luck," said the former Spurs keeper as he warmed up to face Barry Fry's Posh at London Road.
Reversal of fortune? - Simon Brown will be hoping to keep a clean sheet tomorrow.
"Stoke and Oldham put some really good goals past me and I felt cheated because I was helpless to do anything about them.
"I'm my own worst critic and I usually look back at the videos of every game and feel that I could have done a bit better here and much better there.
"That wasn't the case in those two games. Everyone of those goals were great shots.
"But I would rather that be the case than have the ball creeping through my hands or through my legs over the line."
He added: "I'm going for a clean sheet tomorrow and I really don't care how I achieve it."
"I don't care if the ball goes through my hands and smacks me in the face as long as it doesn't go in the net."
