Students at a Southend school have taken to the stage to perform a musical - about a man-eating plant!
More than 100 children and 20 staff from Cecil Jones High School in Eastern Avenue helped to put on a production of Little Shop of Horrors.
The show was staged in the new arts centre which has dance studios, a theatre, music technology rooms, media facilities and art rooms.

Performers were able to take advantage of the new technology the arts centre boasts such as computerised light and sound system, glitter bombs which shower the audience and radio microphones.
