A production company would like to hear from south Essex stepmothers who will share their experiences for a TV documentary.
Windfall Films, an award- winning company which makes high quality documentaries for Channel Four and the BBC is keen to look at the role being a step-parent.
Francine Shaw, producer, said: "Step families are a growing part of modern society and family life and as it is more and more likely that a woman will marry someone who already has children, Channel Four is making a film about this phenomenon."
