A scheme which has handed out tens of thousands of pounds to community groups has come to an end.
The Rural Activity Grants provided funding for numerous small-scale projects within the eastern half of Tendring.
But after eight years, the programme has been withdrawn.
The move comes following changes within the strategy of the East of England Development Agency, the body through which the cash is channelled.
Groups within Tendring's Rural Priority Area applied for funds, and the rural priority area will still remain in place.
In the past three years the scheme handed out more than £80,000 to 129 projects.
