Former Kingstonian goalkeeper Jerome John made his Billericay Town debut last night -- and pulled off a fine 67th minute save to ensure the visitors picked up a Ryman League Premier Division point.
His effort, to keep out a shot from ex-Aldershot man Jon Nutter, was the highlight of an uninspiring affair which saw the home side's Mike Bignall miss out after 10 minutes and Joe Baker shoot over and then just wide -- the second effort following a Martin Carthy header.
Billericay introduced substitutes Sacha Opinel and Jamie Wallace in the second-half, but striker Wallace's 77th minute effort which went wide was the nearest they came to breaking the stalemate.
