The latest nightspot to hit Basildon has proved so popular it has smashed national sales figures, it has been revealed.
In its first week, Chicago Rock Cafe, on Festival Leisure Park, has proved a hit.
The restaurant/bar, which invites revellers to eat, drink and dance the night away to classic tunes, has sold an impressive total of 2,500 meals in the seven days since it opened.
The figure tops any other Chicago Rock in the country.
