A charity is urging groups in Thurrock to mark the Queen's Jubilee raising money to help blind children have a more fulfilling life.
The Royal National Institute for the Blind is calling on people to take up the Jumbles For Jubilee challenge and to stage a jumble sale for its sunshine fund for blind children.
Organiser Terri Bush said: "We are looking for individuals or groups, clubs, schools, guide and scout companies, churches and so on to run a jumbles sale between April 12 and 14.
"We will supply an RNIB teeshirt to the organiser and a banner and posters to advertise the jumble sale. An information pack will also be provided which gives tips and ideas."
Fore more information call 01268 565646. Bargain-hunters can also call this number nearer the time to receive a list of jumble sales.
