Wickford snooker star Lisa Ingall put up a brave bid to reach the final of the women's Scottish Championship before bowing out 4-3 to Kelly Fisher at the semi-final stage.
Today, Basildon-based Stuart Bingham aimed for a place in the last 16 of the Thailand Masters when he took on Jimmy White in Bangkok.
Immediately on his return from the Far East, Bingham, now based at Leigh's Executive Club, will take on former finalist Nigel Bond aiming to win through to The Crucible Theatre, Sheffield, stages of the Embassy World Championship.
